We hold workshops from June 26th to July 14th, and these workshops are for improving your knowledge for gathering and managing materials, and also for using of the library. Some programs will be conducted in English! Why don’t you come and join us?

- WE-1 <<Writing Workshop>> Improving your research skills: Giving a powerful presentation (Collaborative program with Writing Center)
Date & Time: July 4 (Tue) 9:00-12:10
Location: Building 3, CTLT Classroom 3 (3-203), Waseda Campus
Intended for: Students who want to improve research skills
DBs to be introduced: WINE, Web of Science, etc.
Program overview:
Create effective and attractive oral presentations. Learn some basic presentation strategies and tips on mental preparation. Collaborative workshop between the Writing Center and the Library. The basic usage of the Library will also be covered in this workshop.Join us!
- WE-2 <<Writing Workshop>>Improving your research skills: Writing a persuasive research proposal(Collaborative program with Writing Center)
Date & Time: July 5 (Wed) 13:00-16:15
Location: Building 3, CTLT Classroom 1 (3-201), Waseda Campus
Intended for: Students who want to improve research skills
DBs to be introduced: WINE, Web of Science, etc.
Program overview:
Learn the basics of research preparation and how to develop and present a research proposal. Collaborative workshop between the Writing Center and the Library. The basic usage of the Library will also be covered in this workshop. Join us!
*If you are participating in both of them, you may skip the library part on the second day (July 5, 3rd period).

* WE-1 and WE-2 workshop limits the number of the participants to 20 persons.
* First applied, first served. Make sure to apply earlier!
