We hold workshops from October 31st to November 18th, and these workshops are for improving your knowledge for gathering and managing materials, and also for using of the library.

How to Write Persuasive Papers: Retrieving Information and Outlining Arguments(Collaborative program with Writing Center)
Students who want to write a paper with arguments well supported by literature WINE, Web of Science, etc. [Will take place on Waseda Campus]

How do I search for useful materials using the databases for my paper? How do I cite them appropriately? How do I write papers with convincing arguments? This collaborative workshop between the Writing Center and the Library will help you answer these questions! Join us!

How to Use Library Resources Efficiently
Freshman students and the students who do not know how to use the library resources. WINE, ebrary, Web of Science, ProQuest Newspapers, etc. [Will take place on Waseda Campus]

In this workshop, the participants will learn how to use library resources, such as books and journal articles. Let’s make the most of the Library and write wonderful papers!

RefWorks, a citation management tool (English Program)

Students and faculty members who want to use RefWorks RefWorks [Will take place on Waseda Campus]

RefWorks is a web-based bibliography manager, useful for writing a paper. It allows you to manage and store bibliographic information and make bibliographies in standard formats. Let’s learn the basics of RefWorks from a ProQuest’s instructor!
