The following rules apply to the Central Library, the Campus Libraries (Takata, Toyama, Science & Engineering, Tokorozawa), the Students’ Reading Rooms (Political Science & Economics, Law, Education, Commerce & SILS, Social Sciences, Japanese Language, Science & Engineering), the Theater Museum Library, the Waseda International House of Literature (WIHL) and the Students’ Reading Room (Graduate School of Law). *2 Undergraduate students cannot borrow the materials of the research stacks of WIHL, but can browse them only for the purpose of writing their graduation theses with a letter of introduction from a full-time faculty of Waseda University who supervises them.
*3 Please note that Library Card (Blue) holders cannot borrow materials from the student reading rooms (Political Science & Economics, Law, Education, Commerce, Social Sciences). Materials located in the student reading rooms (SILS, Japanese Language, Science & Engineering) can be checked out.
*4 Please note that Affiliated Senior High School students and Art & Architecture School students cannot borrow materials from the student reading rooms (Political Science & Economics, Law, Education, Commerce, SILS, Social Sciences, Japanese Language). Materials located in Science & Engineering Students’ Reading Room can be checked out.
*5 Library Card (Blue) holders, Affiliated Senior High School students, and Art & Architecture School students are not allowed to use the research lounge of WIHL.
