卒業式、入学式を迎えるにあたって
3月25日、26日に2021年度学部、芸術学校卒業式および大学院学位授与式が、4月1日、2日に2022年度学部、芸術学校、大学院入学式が行われます。新型コロナウイルスは心配ですが、かけがえのない学生生活の思い出として、参加対象者を学生のみに限定し、各回の参加人数を分散させつつ、対面形式での式典を実施します。新型コロナウイルスの感染リスクを低減させ、卒業生、修了生および新入生等が安全に、また、安心して新たなスタートを切ることができるように、学生の皆さんには、以下の内容の厳守を徹底するようお願いします。
なお、まん延防止等重点措置が解除されたことを踏まえ、来週以降、課外活動の緩和を行う予定です。

１．式典に参加できるのは、対象となる学生のみです。ご家族の方々にはライブ配信をご覧いただき、キャンパスへの来訪は控えていただいています。感染予防を第一に考えての措置です。先輩を送り出したい、新入生を温かく迎えたいという皆さんの気持ちは十分に理解しますが、参加対象ではない学生の皆さんは、会場の周辺等に集まらないようにしてください。
２．感染予防の観点から送別会・歓迎会等のイベントおよびこれに類するものは、個人的なものを含め厳に控えてください。卒業生、修了生の皆さんにおいては、新しく社会に踏み出す直前の時期となります。自覚ある行動を望みます。
３．高田馬場駅前、大学近隣の公園等で集まり、校歌、紺碧の空を合唱したりすることは、厳に慎んでください。早大生としての自覚を持つとともに、公共マナーを守ってください。
４．4月1日～4日の新歓活動期間中、新入生へのサークル等への勧誘活動は、事前に募集された合同説明会やステージ企画の他はオンライン形式で実施してください。大学構内はもちろんキャンパス周辺での対面での勧誘活動やチラシ等の配布は一切禁止します。詳細は学生生活課Webサイトを確認してください。

Dear Students,
On the occasion of graduation and entrance ceremonies
The University will be holding graduation ceremonies on March 25 and 26, and entrance ceremonies on April 1 and 2 for all undergraduate and graduate schools . Although the COVID-19 infection is a concern, as an irreplaceable and precious memories of student life, the ceremony will be held in a face-to-face format while limiting the number of participants to students only and will be split into multiple sessions to disperse the number of participants per session. In order to reduce the risk of infection by the COVID-19 and to ensure that graduates and new students can make a safe and secure new start, we ask that all students strictly adhere to the following instructions.
Based on the lifting of the Quasi-emergency Coronavirus Measures, we will be relaxing restrictions on extracurricular activities from next week onward.
1. Only eligible students may attend the ceremony. Families are asked to watch the live webcast and refrain from visiting the campus. Prevention of infection is our first priority. We fully understand your desire to send off seniors and warmly welcome new students, but students who are not eligible to participate in the ceremony are asked not to gather around the venue.
2. From the viewpoint of infection prevention, please refrain strictly from holding farewell parties, welcome parties, and similar events, including personal events. For graduates, this is the time just before they go into the world. We hope that you will act with self-awareness.
3. Please refrain strictly from gathering in front of Takadanobaba Station or in parks near the university to sing the school song the cheering song, “Kompeki-no-sora”. Please be aware of your status as a Waseda University student and observe public manners.
4. During the period of activities to welcome new members from April 1 to 4, all activities other than the joint information sessions and stage projects officially solicited in advance by the university must be conducted in an online format. No face-to-face activities to welcome new members or distribution of flyers or other materials on or around the university campus is permitted.
