In accordance with the following announcement of “Re-extension of the campus closure period and remote research/work of faculty and staff until May 20,” please be advised that the closure of The Center for International Education will be extended to Wednesday, May 20.
Also, please understand that inquiries made by e-mail will be replied after Thursday, May 7, due to the Golden Week Break from Saturday, May 2 to Wednesday, May 6.

As Waseda University announced as below, Center for International Education will extend its closure from 4/8 (Wed) to 5/6 (Wed).

Following the announcements of a beginning of the research-at-home and work-at-home period among the Waseda Community and of the campuses becoming off-limits (see the URL below), the Center for International Education will implement the following measures.
– The first floor (Waseda Global Gate) and the fourth floor of the Building #22 will be closed all day from April 8 (Wednesday) to April 21 (Tuesday), 2020.
*Conditions after the above period will be further notified on the website of the Center for International Education.
– All inquiries regarding study abroad will be accepted only by e-mail ([email protected]) during this period.
– For those who are scheduled to depart this fall, application materials should basically be submitted only by mail. Please check the guidelines provided by the program staff for details.
*The procedures to submit application materials will be informed by the staff of each program via e-mail.
– Please return the cell phone or SIM card you rented to use overseas to the following address by mail.
*Please note that shipping fee is to be paid by a sender.
