You need to submit a “notification of return to Japan” to your graduate/undergraduate school office together with the student registration certificate from your host institution and/or the academic transcript stating the duration of your study as soon as you return to Japan. Moreover, in order to have the credits you earned at your host university recognized and transferred to Waseda University, you need to apply to your graduate/undergraduate school office with academic transcripts from your host institution and other documents which are required for credit approval (please refer to your undergraduate / graduate school for specific requirements).

Upon returning to Japan, how to maintain the language skills you obtained during study abroad? You may consider participating in events put on by the International Community Center (ICC), or perhaps continue to attend study abroad preparatory lectures or tutorial lectures at the Open Education Center.
“Tutorial Chinese; Advanced face-to-face debate / Advanced remote debate” is a lecture on the social condition of Chinese-speaking countries, allowing you to further your comprehension of its culture, while training your practical discussion skills.
This course is recommended if you want to maintain your Chinese language skills upon returning from your study abroad.
In the fall term, the following courses will begin: “Tutorial Chinese; Advanced face-to-face debate / Focus: Society,” and “Advanced remote debate / Focus: Society.”(In the spring term, the focus will be on “life and culture.”)
