Unfortunately, the 2023/24 course list is not finalized at this time. Course schedules for previous and upcoming terms can be found at http://go.sfu.ca. Please look under the "Guest Access" menu > Click on Class Search > Select appropriate term and class information > Click Search. Our office will send information on how to search for classes to the nominated students.

https://www.sfu.ca/students/exchange/academic-information/restricted-subjects-and-courses.html Your students to exchange to SFU may be from any academic discipline and students may enroll in any courses that are not on the restricted courses list and as long as the meet the course requirements. However, for students to take a full course load of Business they must be majoring in Business at Waseda. Please note this does not apply to other academic disciplines.

All exchange students will be automatically enrolled in a mandatory 4 month primary medical insurance plan through guard.me@SFU for the first term. You can find more information here: http://www.sfu.ca/students/exchange/medical.html Starting Summer 2020, students will no longer be given the opportunity to opt-out from the guard.me@SFU mandatory primary medical insurance plan for their first term. The cost for this plan is $281.00/term and paid to SFU. If students are staying for two terms, they will have to apply for BC government insurance for coverage for the second term at $75/month. The completion of some courses will be highly encouraged. For undergraduate students, students' eligibility to get certain courses with restrictions or/and prerequisites(usually upper level courses) will be reviewed by departments based on their completed courses from their home university. For graduate students, their completed courses may be reviewed during the admission process.

  • 留学が必修となっている国際教養学部の学生は、学部の許可をとった上で応募してください。
    For SILS students participation in a year-long study abroad program is part of the general degree requirements.
    Therefore, you must consult with your School Office in advance if you wish to apply to a semester program(s).
  • 通年科目が設置されている学部に属する学生が春学期留学をする場合、 科目登録ができず、帰国後の秋学期の授業を受けられない可能性があります。
    その他、専門演習(ゼミ)の登録や履修ができない等、支障が出る可能性がありますので、 所属学部・研究科に問い合わせ、よく確認の上、出願して下さい。
    If your School has year-long programs, it is essential that you consult with your School Office before applying to a seminar program(s) as there will be a possibility that you may not be able to register for courses in the second (fall) semester and/or seminars (enshu, or so-called "zemi").
  • 延長生となって中期留学プログラムに参加する場合、学費は延長生学費ではなく、所定額をお支払いいただくことになります。
    詳細は各学部・研究科にお問い合わせください。
    Students on extension (encho-sei) who participate in semester programs are required to pay the full tuition and other academic fees set by their Schools instead of the reduced fees for students on extension.You should confirm details with your School Offices.
