Students are expected to choose courses in the same or similar subject they study at their home university. - Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences: no cross-level booking. - English Department (English Language and Literature): Students who are not enrolled in English Language and Literature at their home university can only take lectures offered by the English Department. - Department of Biology: Only students who study Biology, Biochemistry or Biomedicine at their home university are allowed to take courses in Biology, Biochemistry or Biomedicine. <Q.留学を通じて得た成果を教えてください>
自分の20年間の中で一番、学習面、精神面、生活面で向上できたような気がします。最初学問が難しすぎて困ってた自分が今となっては問題なくついていき、積極的に参加するようになったことが自分の一番の進歩じゃないかなと感じました。早稲田でも英語だけでの授業を受けてきたのですが、こちらの大学での授業の内容、知識量、英語力全てに圧倒され、追いつく努力をするだけでも生活面での向上が見られるように感じます。生活面に関しましては、初めて異国の地に飛ぶということで不安いっぱいだったものが、今となっては何事にも対応できるようになれてきたと感じます。

一番興味深かった授業は? / Most interesting class

Social Implications of Algorithms
→ 正直一番か二番目に難しい授業でした。ディスカッションが多く、課題も沢山あったのですが、その代わり教授は積極的で有名な方ということもあり、ディスカッションが活発で他の大学では絶対に学べないような趣深いことを沢山学び、知りました。

  • 留学が必修となっている国際教養学部の学生は、学部の許可をとった上で応募してください。
    For SILS students participation in a year-long study abroad program is part of the general degree requirements.
    Therefore, you must consult with your School Office in advance if you wish to apply to a semester program(s).
  • 通年科目が設置されている学部に属する学生が春学期留学をする場合、 科目登録ができず、帰国後の秋学期の授業を受けられない可能性があります。
    その他、専門演習(ゼミ)の登録や履修ができない等、支障が出る可能性がありますので、 所属学部・研究科に問い合わせ、よく確認の上、出願して下さい。
    If your School has year-long programs, it is essential that you consult with your School Office before applying to a seminar program(s) as there will be a possibility that you may not be able to register for courses in the second (fall) semester and/or seminars (enshu, or so-called "zemi").
  • 延長生となって中期留学プログラムに参加する場合、学費は延長生学費ではなく、所定額をお支払いいただくことになります。
