【Congratulations】A paper authored by a student of our graduate school has been published in a prestigious journal!

The Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies (GSAPS) warmly congratulates third-year PhD student Pham Thi Quynh Lien on publishing her co-authored paper, “Externality, Ideology and Sphere of Influence,” in the prestigious European Journal of Political Economy. Collaborating with Shuige Liu (Bocconi University) and Tomoo Kikuchi (Waseda University), she develops an innovative game-theoretic model demonstrating how the collective agency of smaller nations forces superpowers to make strategic ideological compromises.
