For entrance examinations targeting students entering from September 2026 (applications for which are scheduled to begin in late March 2026) onwards, the following changes will be adopted regarding the validity period for language proficiency test results.
１．Validity period
To be considered valid, language test results must be from within two years of your expected university entrance date. (*For specific examination dates, please check the guidelines of the relevant entrance examination.)
２．Target entrance examinations
All entrance examinations at the Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies, Waseda University, with application periods starting after late March 2026.
*For information on applicable language proficiency tests, please refer to the application guidelines of each entrance examination.
(No expiration date is set for the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test N1)
*In the event that the testing institution of a language proficiency test changes the validity period of its test results, the above policy may be changed accordingly.
