On June 16, 2025, six representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat and three members from the Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) visited the Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies as part of the kickoff mission for AHEAD50 (ASEAN Human Educational Development Scholarship Partners).
Dean Atsushi Kato welcomed the guests, and Professor Tamaki Endo delivered a lecture on “Urban development and socioeconomic challenges in Southeast Asia.”
During the lecture, there was also an exchange of views on the common challenges faced by Japan and ASEAN.
The Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies will continue to contribute to initiatives that promote international cooperation and exchange.
