The University issues Student Identification Card. Please carry it with you at all times, and be careful of
damage or theft. It is strictly forbidden to lend your card to another person. Please take note of the following
details:

1. The student ID is composed of a student identification card and an address label (a sticker) with the validity period. The student ID card becomes valid when the address label is attached on the reverse side of the student ID.
2.  If you are to enroll beyond the period of validity indicated on the back sticker due to a leave of absence
   or deferment of completion, you will need to replace the address label. Please follow the instructions from the GSAPS office to receive a new address label.
3. If your student ID number changes, you will be issued a new student ID card, which should be exchanged.
4. If the student changes the address during his/her enrollment, please update your new address on “Update Student Profile” of MyWaseda yourself. You will receive a reissue notice for the address label from the GSAPS office in a few days, so please be sure to replace it. *If you have a residence card, please resubmit the new residence card, with your new address, using the prescribed form.
5. Pay a 2,000 JPY fee for the re-issuing of the student ID card after loss at the GSAPS Office.
6. Please present the student ID card when taking tests, entering the libraries and student reading room, applying for various certificates, discounts, and commutation certificates and when being requested by university faculty and staff.
7. Please return the student ID card to the GSAPS Office upon completion of or withdrawal from the University. On completion of the program, a degree is conferred upon the student upon return of the student ID card; therefore, please carry it with you until that date.
