In order to use the nursery center, you need to make a reservation at least one week in advance of your desired date of use.
If you are planning to use the nursery center, please register well in advance of your desired date of use.

No. This nursery center only offers temporary childcare.
We are unable to provide childcare, etc. that is in line with nursing programs that are provided in general permanent nursery schools.

There are toys (such as rattles, picture books, puzzles, blocks, and play house sets) suitable for various ages from 0 to pre-school age, bedding for napping, a toilet for children, etc.

The nursery center does not have cooking facilities, so we cannot cook meals or snacks.
However, it is possible for the nursery center staff to feed the child what the user had prepared in advance.

Please be sure to bring the following items on the day of use.

Required items

• Insurance card, copy of medical certificate
• Registration certificate
• A set of clothes (clothes, underwear, diapers, etc.)
• Hand towel
• Plastic bags (to be used for dirty clothes, etc.)

What you may need in some cases

• Feeding bottle, milk for 1 day (can be breast milk packed in a freezer bag. Infants only.)
• Bento and beverage (if eating and drinking is required during the childcare time)
  *The nursery center does not offer any food, beverage, tableware (dishes, chopsticks, spoons, forks, glasses, etc.), bibs, etc.

• Two bath towels, one sheet (if afternoon nap is requested)

We cannot accept your child if the child is running a fever of 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher.
Even if their fever is lower, we may not accept your child in some cases, depending on the child’s condition and the usage situation of other children that day.

Needless to say about the strain on your child himself/herself, it may cause problems to other children as well. Therefore, please refrain from using the center as much as possible if the child is not feeling well.

Please be sure to inform the reservation reception by 5:30 pm 7 days before the reservation date.
Unless you inform the reception, you will be charged with the usage fee.

Aid for the usage fee shall be inapplicable in the case of cancellation, but it may be partially applicable in some cases. Refer to the [Usage fee table] page for details.

However, please note that the nursery center in Building 99 does not have a special nursing room.
(The nursery center in Building 60 and 100 has a private nursing room.)
In addition, visiting during the childcare time other than for nursing is not allowed.

We also offer the nursery center service to external personnel when they attend academic conferences hosted by faculty members of Waseda University (also on Saturdays and Sundays).
In addition, we ask that the academic conference secretariat or the hosting faculty member organize the nursery center use request in principle.
