2018年11月7日（水）に国際教養学部の客員教授であるポール・スラシック先生が「NHKワールド」に政治評論家として出演いたします。当日は午前11時頃から19時までほぼ通しで出演され、アメリカ中間選挙の開票結果を分析し、アジアにおける米国の外交政策、主に貿易に対する影響等を説明される予定です。なお、ポール・スラシック客員教授は2018年秋学期より国際教養学部において３・４年生向けの授業である「United States Trade Politics」を担当しています。
Dr. Paul Sracic, a Visiting Professor at SILS, will be serving as the “in studio” political commentator throughout the day for NHK World Japan on Wednesday, November 7. His first appearance is scheduled for 11am and then at least every hour throughout the day as the election results come in. He has been asked to analyze the results and to explain their significance to the U.S. foreign policy in Asia, with a focus on trade issues. He will appear until approximately 7pm. Professor Paul Sracic is the teaching faculty for the “United States Trade Politics”, which is a class for junior and senior students at SILS from Fall 2018.
