1. Why did you choose ULB Master’s program?
The reason why I chose ULB’s Master Program is that it seemed to align with my interests very well; after my bachelor in International Relations, I was looking for a master degree which could offer a focus on East Asia as well as on Europe.
2. What do you like about ULB?
The ULB is an excellent university, with a welcoming and inclusive academic environment and functional campuses. Professors and staff members are usually understanding and more than willing to help students in need; so is the entire university, where professional psychological support, tutoring and other services are available. Feeling at ease is just so simple!
The ULB is also famous for its unique night-life and the numerous clubs (called “cercles”). It certainly lives up to its name!
3. How did you get interested in Waseda-ULB DDP program?
I stumbled upon the details of the Waseda-ULB DDP program almost by accident, while browsing the ULB website. From then on, however, all I could think about was the incredible possibilities this academic journey would provide, and thus I decided to apply for it. I was thrilled at the mere thought of going to university in Brussels first and in Tokyo afterwards; I do not know whether or not this would be a dream for many other students focusing on international relations, but it certainly was mine!
