We contribute to global development by bringing up excellent young executive officers and businessmen who will be the leader of supported countries.
We support network construction between Waseda students and trainees, and enrich education and research conducted Waseda university from the perspective of multiculturalism.
We contribute to the solution of global-scale issue by bringing up global human resources and appearing graduates in the supported countries.

The Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies (GSAPS) administers Global Development Program as part of international cooperation. Based on partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE), we accept the young from supported countries through “Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS)”, “The Project for the Promotion and Enhancement of the Afghan Capacity for Effective Development (PEACE)”, “Internship program of African Business Education Initiative for Youth (ABE Initiative)”, and bring up excellent young executive officers and businessmen who will be the leader of their countries in the 21st century.

When GSAPS accepts the young, Global Development Program Committee in GSAPS takes the lead in holding the “Global Development Program Seminar”, and GSAPS holds lectures which invite businessmen who play an active part in the field of global development and hold the events that lead participants to communicate with each other in the program.
