Training Center, which is located on B2F of Toyama Campus Student Center, is equipped with locker rooms, shower room, etc. Depending on the time of the day, direct instruction is available from specialized trainers to ensure safety and the facilities are well-equipped.

Lockers in the locker room and coin shower in the shower room (100 yen for 5 minutes) are available.
Please bring your own indoor shoes.
Training center is currently open during the following hours. Training Center is available until 30 minutes before closing time.

*The Training Center is closed when the Student Center is closed. The closing days can be checked at this page.
*There are cases when the Training Center will be temporarily closed due to events, machine replacement, or other reasons. Notice of temporary closure will be announced on the poster at the Training Center, on the Student Affairs Section website, and on MyWaseda.

*1 The health checkup report or medical examination report must be from within the academic year. For those who have received a Student Regular Health Check-up on campus, please check the following for informaition on how to check your health checkup status.
1. Before the start of viewing health checkup results on MyWaseda (Until mid-May)
●Please print out “Confirmation of Medical Examination and ECG test” in advance and bring it the venue on the day of the Health Check-up.
●Please show “Confirmation of Medical Examination and ECG test” at the training center.
2. After the start of viewing health checkup results on MyWaseda (From mid-May)
●Please show the MyWASEDA page at the training center.
If you are unable to have a health checkup at the university, a health checkup report issued by an outside medical institution can be accepted. It is recommended that the Health Checkup Report be issued in English or Japanese. If the report is issued in a language other than Japanese, please provide your own Japanese translation in the margin.
*2 We do not refund any registration fees. The fee payment certificate can be purchased in the automated certificate-issuing machine on the 2F of the Student Center (in front of the Student Center Information Center).
*3 The automated certificate-issuing machine in front of the Information Center on the 2nd floor of the Student Center will be available from 9:00 to 17:00 on Weekdays (including holiday with classes). The machine will be closed on Saturdays, Sundays, National holidays, and Special holiday (classes: not held).

Waseda University Student Health Promotion Mutual Aid Association provides a health checkup subsidy to cover a portion of the cost when members (regular students) receive health checkups at contracted clinics around campus (only some clinics are designated by the association)*.
