2022年2月17日から3月15日までの間、早稲田大学スーパーグローバル大学創成支援事業健康スポーツ科学拠点では、EMリヨン経営大学院から2021年度招聘教員としてお迎えしている Prof. Chadwick によるオンライン講義「Current Issues in 21st Century Sport（全15回）」が行われました。
「Current Issues in 21st Century Sport 」というタイトルの通り、学生個人の関心に基づき、現在のスポーツ業界を取り巻く課題について、取り扱いました。
授業では、ブレイクアウトルームを用いて少人数にてディスカッションを行い、学生の問題意識に基づいて議論を行いました。また、学生自身の意見を引き出していきながら、研究テーマを選ぶように指導し、各々が自ら課題を見つけ、解決策に向けて意見形成していくよう、進められました。

The course will focus on a series of mega trends that are currently impacting upon sport. It will examine where and how this is happening, and what the implications are for organising, leading and managing sport. The module will extensively utilise case studies including City Football Group, Qatar’s staging of the 2022 World Cup, and China’s sports strategy to highlight some of the most important developments currently taking place in elite professional sport.
