France, it’s charm is almost impossible to express in words. From north to south the rolling mountains leading to the beautiful port towns like those on the Normandy coast full of fish and shellfish.
Its scenery has inspired the great impressionists and other artists throughout the ages.
Bordeaux, Provence, the Cote d’Azur, Bourgogne and Paris.
When we hear these names we immediately think of the country that is the number one tourist destination in the world.
Where people come from all over to enjoy the food, culture and beautiful scenery of France.
In this festival there’ll be presentations from Waseda’s own French students about food, tourism and youth culture in France.
There will also be a presentation from a student from the culturally French area of Canada; Quebec.
As well as that there will be some musical performances of French pieces by the “Waseda Piano Society” and “Waseda University Classical String Orchestra” student clubs.
During the Cafe Exchange Time you’ll also have a chance to try some treats and talk to our own French students!
Don’t miss out!
