When you do not pay the tuition fees for a semester by the designated dates, you will be automatically removed from the School Register, which will be treated as an Administrative Withdrawal dated as the final day of the last semester for which you have paid your tuition fees.

You can postpone the removal date by submitting the form below.

International students who intend to apply for “Waseda University scholarships” and “External Scholarships with University Recommedation (screening by Waseda University)”, have to make the scholarship registration.

Registration Period / Registration Method

Applicants will be notified via MyWaseda in early April every year.

Notes

・Exchange Students,Non-degree Students and students whose tuition fees are all covered by foreign governments　or scholarship organizations, etc.are not eligible for this Registration.
・In principle, applicants for international student scholarships must have the Visa status of  “Student” to apply. However, there is a possibility that some Waseda University scholarships are available for students whose Visa status is other than “Permanent Resident,” “Long-term Resident,” “Spouse or Child of Japanese National (Permanent Resident),” or “Dependent”.
・Registration does not guarantee that you will receive a scholarship.Waseda university will select candidates for the “Waseda University scholarships” and “External Scholarships with University Recommedation”for those who have registered.Those selected as candidates will be contacted individually with details of the scholarship.
・For External Scholarships (publicly offered), please apply individually by yourself.
・This registration must be done every academic year if you wish to receive the scholarships.
