学生の年齢に関わらず、学籍異動の申請時に、大学に登録されている保護者等の署名が必ず必要です。空欄の場合、申請を受け付けません。遠方におり署名取得が難しい場合は、学籍異動について保護者等が了承している内容がわかるメールやLINEのスクリーンショットなどをご提出ください。
Regardless of the student’s age, a signature from a parent or guardian registered with the University is required when applying for a change in student status. Applications without a signature will not be accepted.
If you are unable to obtain a signature due to distance, please submit an email or a screenshot (e.g., from LINE) that clearly shows your parent or guardian has agreed to the change.

MyWasedaにログイン後、左メニューの［個人情報照会・変更］-［学生基本情報変更］より確認してください。
Please log in to MyWaseda and click [Update Student Profile] – [Change of Personal Information] on the menu on the left.

原則として学生本人がご申請ください。疾病等、本人が申請できないやむを得ない事情がある場合、大学に登録されている保護者等であれば代理申請を認めます。
As a general rule, students are required to apply themselves. However, if there are unavoidable circumstances—such as illness—that prevent the student from doing so, a parent or guardian registered with the university may submit the application on the student’s behalf.

休学・留学が終了する2ヵ月程前に学生のWasedaメールアドレス宛に通知しています。なお、復学手続きは学部・研究科Webサイトでも案内しているので、参照してください。
※大学に登録されている保護者等の方による代理での手続きを認めております。
Students are notified via their Waseda email address approximately two months before the end of their leave of absence or study abroad. Please also refer to your Faculty or Graduate School website for details on the reinstatement procedure.
*A parent or guardian registered with the University may complete the procedure on the student’s behalf.

各自で忘れずに奨学金異動手続きをしてください。
Please make sure to complete the necessary scholarship procedures yourself.

必ずしも4年間で卒業できるとは言えませんが、4年間で卒業できる場合もあります。ただし、卒業研究や演習（ゼミ）の履修計画が大きく影響してきますので、ゼミ指導教員と履修計画について十分に話しあい、また、事前に所沢総合事務センター担当者と相談されることを強く推奨します。

3年生の夏から就職活動を開始する学生もおりますので、2年生秋からの留学がモデルケースとなっております。なお、4年間で卒業しないといけないということはないので、経済的な事情もあるかとは思いますが、よくご相談のうえ、留学時期、留学期間などをご検討ください。

また、科目登録の手引きにも留学期間とゼミ・卒業研究の履修時期などについて記載しておりますのでご確認ください。

Although graduating in four years is not guaranteed, it is sometimes possible. However, whether you can graduate on time will depend heavily on your graduation research and seminar (zemi) plans. We strongly recommend that you discuss your course plan thoroughly with your academic advisor and consult with the Tokorozawa Administrative Office in advance.

Since some students start actively job searching in the summer of their third year, studying abroad from the fall of the second year is often considered a typical model. That said, graduating in exactly four years is not a requirement. If your financial situation allows for a longer enrollment, we encourage you to carefully consider the timing and duration of your study abroad.

留学時には、留学後の帰国後登録を除き、早稲田大学の科目を履修することはできません。したがって、指導教員・担当教員の諾否を問わず、留学先からオンラインにて演習（ゼミ）や卒業研究、研究指導を受け、単位修得することはできません。
While studying abroad, you are not allowed to register for or take courses at Waseda University, except for course registration after returning to Japan. Therefore, even if your supervisor or course instructor approves, you cannot participate in seminars, graduation research, or research supervision online from your study abroad location and earn credits.

受入許可証は遅れても構いません。留学願だけでも先にご提出ください。
※受入許可証については、先方機関が学生を受け入れることを了承している旨が記載されたものであれば、メールのスクリーンショットなどでも構いません。
The acceptance letter may be submitted later. Please submit the study abroad application form first.
*The acceptance letter can be a screenshot of an email or similar document, as long as it clearly indicates that the host institution has agreed to accept you.

大学に在籍中であり、学生証も学生自身が所持しておりますので、MyWaseda、スクールバス、図書館などは引き続き利用可能です。

Since the student remains enrolled at the university and retains their student ID card, they can continue to use MyWaseda, the school bus, the library, and other campus services.

部活動の参加可否については競技スポーツセンターにご相談ください。また、所属学連の休学中の取扱、通算出場可能年数などはご所属の体育各部の主務を通じて照会し確認してください。
Please check with the Athletic Center to find out whether you’re allowed to participate in club activities.
For matters like how your leave of absence is handled by your athletic league or how many years you’re allowed to compete, ask your club’s manager (shumu) for details.

原則として、卒業要件を満たしている場合は、継続在籍はできません。ただし、９月修了（卒業）予定者が翌年３月修了（卒業）を希望する場合は「在籍希望届」の提出を行い、あわせて、秋学期に所属学部・研究科設置科目を１単位以上登録して在学することを条件に、１回（半期分）のみ修了を延長し、継続在籍が認められます。
As a general rule, students who have already met their graduation requirements cannot remain enrolled.
However, if you are scheduled to graduate in September and wish to postpone graduation until the following March, you may extend your enrollment once (for one semester) by submitting a “Request for Enrollment” and registering for at least one credit offered by your school or graduate school in the fall semester.
Please note that even in this case, you cannot take a leave of absence—you must remain actively enrolled with course registration.

休学願だけでも先にご提出ください。診断書は遅れても構いません。
Please go ahead and submit the leave of absence application first. You can turn in the medical certificate later.
