During the Open Campus Days 2021, the GS Center at Waseda University will provide individual counseling by specialty staff who are understanding and knowledgeable about gender and sexuality issues to prospective students, their family, friends, support systems, and legal guardians. Any topics related to gender and sexuality can be brought up, including but not limited to the concerns and questions around the support available to LGBTQ+ students, issues around one’s own gender identity and/or sexuality, and issues related to friendship and romantic relationships. Specialty staff will listen to you and provide support to the extent possible.
We welcome prospective students who are LGBTQ+, or who have questions and concerns about ways in which Waseda University handles issues related to one’s gender identity and sexual orientation to access this service.
