Regarding the schedule and application for doctoral degree, you should discuss it with your supervisor in advance. If you have any questions about the procedure, please contact the IPS Office.
Attention
Please print all the documents as one-side printing (single-side, no staple).
When your name will come up in English on the thesis, please make sure to use your English name on all the other application documents.
To apply for a doctoral dissertation, you must complete and pass one of the following research ethics education programs.
1.“Introduction to Academic and Research Integrity (For Life Sciences, Biological Science, Science and Engineering)” offered by Global Education Center,Waseda University

2.［eL CoRE］e-Learning Course on Research Ethics offered by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
– Please refer to “For the Sound Development of Science -The Attitude of a Conscientious Scientist-”
first and then watch the on-demand content.
– Please take “For Helping Graduate Students Understand Research Ethics via Case Examples”, which
is intended for graduate students.
-Please visit the website ( https://elcore.jsps.go.jp/top.aspx ) and each student must register as a user
before taking the course.
