When you leave Japan temporarily, students have to notify their supervisor and submit the “Notification of Traveling Abroad for International Students” to IPS Office.

Reporting the students as missing

If your location cannot be confirmed, IPS Office will report the students as missing to the Immigration Bureau of Japan.

• Missing student
• Student who is absent from school or laboratory for a long period without notice.
