Leave of Absence
Students who cannot attend courses for more than two months due to illness, financial reasons, overseas training, etc. may request a leave of absence.
Please also carefully review the information regarding leave of absence as stated in the Student handbook.
If you wish to take a leave of absence, please consult the Faculty of Letters, Arts and Sciences Office in advance via the inquiry form.
Withdrawal
If you voluntarily apply to withdraw from the University, your Voluntary Withdrawal may be permitted the approval of the Faculty Committee and other related parties.
Please also carefully review the information regarding voluntary withdrawal as stated in the Student handbook.
If you wish to apply for Voluntary Withdrawal, please complete and submit the “Application for Withdrawal” and your student ID.

Re-Admission
Time limit for re-admission
Students may be re-admitted to the University during the seven years beginning from the year following the year of their withdrawal.

If you wish to be readmitted, please consult the Faculty of Letters, Arts and Sciences Office in advance via the inquiry form.

If you wish to be readmitted in the Spring semester: November 15 of the previous year
If you wish to be readmitted in the Fall semester: May 15
