Contemporary Literature and Criticism

In keeping with Waseda University’s long tradition of training and education in the world of arts, publishing, news reporting, and the media, these studies will establish a foundation in the creation and transmission of culture. Training in authorship, research, criticism and translation will be provided, covering various literary genres (such as novels, poetry, drama, screenplays), and in the areas of publishing, editing, broadcasting, the media, and the circulation of cultural artifacts.
