Exchange students are required to take at least one course of the MA Program of the Graduate School of Commerce. Students can also take courses from other schools including MBA courses within 10 credits. The limit applies during their stay. For more details, please see the followings:

2. Important Notice Regarding the Selection of Exchange Students | Must be signed by the student and an exchange program coordinator of sending university. |

5. Copy of Passport (identification page) | If the passport is to expire before enrolling at Waseda University, please renew it as soon as possible. |
6. Official Certificate of Enrollment issued by the home university | The certificate must include: name of the university you are currently enrolled in, year you are in at the university (freshman, sophomore, etc.) at the time of this application, name of the school you are enrolled in, specification that you are attending as a full time student, and your scheduled graduation date. |
7. Official Transcript | Must include the grading system notes. |

9. ID Photographs in JPG format (digital) | Upload a digital photo in JPG format through Form 2.
The immigration bureau will check the photo very carefully, so a photo taken with a smartphone or other device is not acceptable. Submit a color, frameless (4:3 aspect ratio), full-head and full-shoulder photo taken within the last 3 months, against a plain background, with the applicant looking straight ahead and head uncovered Please check “Photograph Requirements“. If you submit the photo of your passport, it must have been taken within the last 3 months. Submission of a photo of your passport is not allowed if the passport was issued over 3 months ago. This photograph will be used for your Student ID Card as well. |
