This is to inform you of the Certificate Issuance Service during the summer holiday period.
Summer Holiday Period: 2026 August 6 (Thu) to 2026 August 16 (Sun)
No administrative services will be available during the above period.
Applications received during 2026 August 5 (Wed) ~ August 16 (Sun) will be processed in order from August 17 (Mon).
The certificate issuing service itself will be unavailable from 6:00 a.m. on August 14 (Fri) until 9:00 a.m. on August 15 (Sat) (online applications, payments other than cash payment at convenience stores, and receipt of certificates will not be available).

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you wish to have a certificate issued before the summer holiday period, please apply as soon as possible.

- Issuance of Student Discount Certificates (for current students)
Certificate issuing machines on campus will be unavailable from 5:00 p.m. on August 5 (Wed) until 12:00 p.m. on August 17 (Mon). If you need a student discount certificate, please apply well in advance so that you can receive it by the end of operating hours on August 5 (Wed).

Certificate Issuance Service – Waseda Portal Office
- Issuance at convenience stores and certificate issuing machines on campus
For issuance at convenience stores or certificate issuing machines on campus, the application will be invalidated if the certificate is not issued within 7 days of application. Please also be aware of the service operation schedule during the summer holiday period before submitting your application. - Receiving certificates by post mail
If you wish to receive your certificates by post mail, please be advised that they will be expected to arrive in late August or later, depending on the destination and delivery conditions (even if you request express delivery, the certificate will be sent after the holidays). - Initial registration and registration of multiple student ID numbers
Initial registration for those using another existing email address other than a Waseda Mail address, or registration of multiple student ID numbers will be processed after August 17 (Mon). Please understand it will take more time to process than usual.
