As such, Waseda University assesses code of ethics on research plans to protect research subjects and ensure the fairness and credibility of research. The Ethics Committee on Research with Humans as Subjects conducts the “Lecture on Research with Humans as Subjects” for teaching and administrative staff and students of our school who are scheduled to conduct research with humans as subjects, in order to deepen their understanding of research with humans as subjects.
Before submitting an application to the Ethics Committee on Research with Humans as Subjects, the member(s) of our school in charge of the research, and the representative(s) for the conduct of the research, must attend the lecture.
