Utilizing the credit transfer system between Waseda University and the other four “f-Campus” consortium member universities — Gakushuin University, Gakushuin Women’s College, Japan Women’s University, and Rikkyo University — as well as other nearby universities enables students to, for example, attend classes on the campus of one university in the morning and then study on the Waseda Campus in the afternoon. You can take unique courses offered by other universities and broaden your networks.
*Students may have to pay some of the costs for certain courses, for example, those associated with laboratory work or practical training fees.
Credit transfer is also available between Waseda University and Kyushu University. Waseda University also has distinctive collaborative lecture courses with Nara Medical University. This credit transfer system enables students to learn at other campuses during the summer holidays, with the credits earned recognized for graduation from Waseda University.
*Students are required to bear the actual costs associated with certain courses, for example, laboratory fees, other practical training fees, transportation costs and local accommodation fees.
Doshisha University and Waseda University established a domestic exchange program in 1997, with each university accepting around 10 students from the other each academic year. Many Waseda students have already been on a domestic exchange with Doshisha University, broadening their perspectives through life and study in the Kyoto area. Half-year exchanges are also available. Credits obtained while on a domestic exchange will be recognized as credits for graduation from Waseda University.
