On January 11, 2022, Waseda University was certified by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare as a “Company Supporting Child-Rearing” under the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children (Kurumin Certification) and is now able to use the “Certification Mark (Kurumin Mark)”.
By displaying (publishing) the Kurumin mark on business cards, job advertisements, recruitment guidelines for teachers, websites, etc., it is possible to increase the appeal as a “childcare support company.”
In addition, by submitting a certification notification when applying for public research funds, it is possible to be eligible for additional points.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to utilize the certification mark and certification notice as needed. For more information, please visit the Office for Promotion of Equality and Diversity’s website below.
