●Registration for the “Short Study Abroad Courses” is optional. After you have been selected to participate in the program, the Center for International Education will send you a separate email with information on course registration.
If you wish to register for courses, please follow the instructions in the email by the deadline specified by the Center for International Education.

During the Fall Semester Registrations we will be accepting registrations for the Fall Semester.
Please register through the website during your department’s first, second, or third registration period for the Fall Semester.
Please check the “notice of registration results” posted in each department. An email will be sent to you at your Waseda email address with results. The automatic registration result is shown on your MyWaseda and Waseda mail delivered from your department.
Please refer to the guidelines or handbooks issued by each department.
Each department decides the date and way the grades are announced.
Usage of other people’s literature in its entirety, such as books and web sites, and turning it in as your own report is not acceptable. Even if it is a partial work, you must clearly differentiate your own descriptions from the quoted parts. For each quoted part, the source must be specified. Necessary conditions for the citation must be met. Unacceptable reports are seen as fraud; the equivalent to copying other people’s answers and forbidden material at an exam. When fraud is discovered, the course will become void. In addition, your department may decide that other credits you are acquiring should be void, and you may be suspended. Please be very careful when turning in your reports.
On dates that your department’s classes have off because of Department Day, CIE classes are still in session. Please be careful.
In order to secure the number of school days (semester courses: 14 times), and to obey the “Law Regarding Sundays and Public Holidays,” we hold classes during some holidays.
For detailed information, please check with your department guidelines and obey.
Class cancellation / postponements of exams are not exercised based on weather forecasts alone. When the university decides the campus is dangerous due to typhoons, heavy rain, floods, violent wind, snowstorms, etc., classes may be cancelled and exams may be postponed.
Even if classes are not cancelled, after a weather warning is made public, if you judge that it is dangerous to attend classes, please turn in a department-approved absence note to the faculty of the specific courses.
When the university has a need for emergency notification, such as school cancellation, access to the university’s top page will be crowded. With this in mind, we plan to post the same information to the following web sites. Please make sure you are able to access these pages, and add them as bookmarks to your computer, mobile phones, etc.
Please contact the Waseda Portal Office through MyWaseda, by clicking on 「お問い合わせフォーム」in the 「成績照会・科目登録専用メニュー」screen. Please be aware that although inquiries are accepted 24 hours a day, the reply may take longer than one day, depending on the time and content of your inquiry.
