The researchers led by Professor Takeo Miyake and Junior Researcher Saman Azhari from the Graduate School of Information Production and Systems, Waseda University; Associate Professor Jun Hirotani from Kyoto University; Professor Kazuhiro Kimura from Yamaguchi University Hospital; and Assistant Professor Atsushige Ashimori from Yamaguchi University Hospital have developed stable MXene-coated contact lenses with remarkable optical and EMR shielding properties.
