Professor Detey Co-organized the (I)PFC2023 International Conference in Paris and Presented a paper with Dr Fontan about the Lexical Predictions of Phonetic Substitution Matrixes among Japanese learners of French

Professor Detey was a Guest Speaker at the Hautes Etudes Internationales & Politiques HEIC – at the La Defense campus in Paris to talk about his book “Do we really know how to speak”

Professor Detey Co-organized a Round Table with the France-Japan Foundation of the EHESS around his book “Do we really know how to speak. The Linguistic contract as a social contract” with key speakers in the fields of linguistic policies and education, communication, and journalism in Paris.

Professor Detey was an Invited Speaker at Fribourg University (Switzerland) for a 2-day Conference about Speech Corpora and French Language Education co-organized by Neuchatel University and Fribourg University

Professor Detey participated in a Workshop in Seinan Gakuin University with Dr Fontan (Archean Labs) as part of a JSPS Fellowship Research Program about the Automatic evaluation of Japanese learners of French
