要旨	Using a unique dataset of digitized housing records of the Qing dynasty in China, this study provides a natural experiment to study the price efficiency effects of social inclusion. The inclusion of non-bannermen to live in the inner city, which in 1806 constituted a truly revolutionary advance in social inclusion. Utilizing experimental setting of housing market reform, we explore the effects of social inclusion on price efficiency. We find that pricing errors are reduced after the policy introduction. Our results are consistent with the effects of social and financial inclusions on market efficiency. Moreover, we examine the broader economic and social impacts of social inclusion. We find that price inequality effects are reduced after the policy introduction of social inclusion.
