1-Day Disaster Preparation and Experience Workshop for Newcomers in Waseda and Tokyo!（2025/6/14）
日本では地震や津波が発生することが知られていますが、実際に災害が起こった時、あなたはどのように対応すればよいか把握していますか？自宅や大学のキャンパスで日常を過ごすなかで、突然の災害にどう備えるべきでしょうか？
WAVOCでは、2025年6月14日（土）に、日本で生活を始めた留学生はもちろん、日本人学生も対象にした、いま知っておくべき防災イベントを開催します！災害時に必要な知識を身につけ、一緒に防災スキルを磨きましょう！当日は、午前の座談会（セミナー）の後、午後は池袋防災館を訪れ、地震の揺れを体験したり、火事や煙が充満する空間で出口を探したりする防災体験ツアーに参加します！
※本イベントは、日本の災害・防災を学びたい留学生に適した内容となっていますが、日本人学生の参加もお待ちしています！

You may be aware that natural disasters like earthquakes and tsunamis would happen in Japan, but do you actually know what to do in case it happens? In your own home and in the University campus, do you know how to prepare in advance of any emergency situation?
For both international and Japanese students, WAVOC will host a Disaster Preparation and Experience activity on 14 June 2025 (Sat) to share the essential guideline. Following the seminar we will also go to the Life Safety Learning Center in Ikebukuro together to experience earthquake and fire simulation. There you will learn how to best equip at your home, as well as to practice evacuation in smoky conditions.
*This event is suitable for international students who wish to learn about disasters and disaster prevention in Japan, but Japanese students are also welcome to attend!
