Feb. 5th (Mon)
WISH Farewell Party

February 5th (FRI) –For the second time in my dorm life, I went to the WISH Anniversary Party, which was held within the dorm premises. The event started with a quick icebreaker – a series of quizzes about WISH.

Last year’s Anniversary Party also included a WISH quiz, but the content was different and were based on updated information, such as the number of dorm residents. After that we did a team-based game, which allowed me to meet new people. We were each given a topic to draw as a team – but each member had only a few seconds to draw. Contrary to explanation, this game proved to be a bit of an exercise, and we were left hungry once done.

Luckily, dinner was served to us, and we were able to have meals. Once we were finished with dinner, a round of Bingo was done, with multiple prizes. I could not get any prizes, but the lucky ones got few thousand-yen worth of prizes…

This year marked the fourth anniversary of WISH, meaning that the first generation of freshmen dorm entrants would be graduating this spring. While most of the first generation’s dorm residents have left WISH two years ago, some have stayed and became RAs, experiencing their whole university life in the same dorm.

As a final farewell to my beloved sempais, it was only natural for me to go to the WISH Anniversary Party. At the end of the day, the WISH Anniversary Party was a great place to socialize with people from different generations of the WISH legacy,
