Participation to “100km Hiking” as a WISH resident

“100km Hiking” as known as “100-hi” is one of the three biggest events along with the legendary baseball game of Waseda vs. Keio, and the Waseda Festival in Waseda University which we walk (sometimes run!) from Honjo city in Saitama prefecture to Waseda main campus. Every year, around 50 WISH residents join this event as a member of “Team WISH.” Some wear the WISH “100-hi” T-shirt designed by one of the residents and some wear their original costumes. I missed the ending ceremony since I was late, but I felt very happy and couldn’t stop crying when I saw my friends from WISH warmly welcomed at the goal.
