【Announcement】 Open House of WISH

Waseda International Student House (WISH) will be holding Open House on the following date and time. On the day, we are planning to give a tour of the facility, explaining the management system and the program offered in the dormitory.
Open campus will be held on the same weekend which is free to come by anytime, however for   WISH Open House, please make sure to apply in advance.
*please note that WISH’s living area is divided into male and female by floor that we will also divide participants into those two for dorm tour.

Open House Schedule

August 3rd(Sat), 2019
【Dorm Tour】
First tour : 11:00~ (*only in Japanese)
Second tour : 14:00~
Third tour : 16:00~ (*only in Japanese /only for those who apply at site on August 3rd)

Meeting Time

(1st tour) at 10:50   (2nd tour) at 13:50   (3rd tour) at 15:50
*Approximate tour time 60-90minutes.
*Please note in advance that if numbers of participants exceed, we may ask you to reschedule the time or may schedule an another time.

※Unfotunately, the ladies seats exceeded the capacity, so we finished accepting ladies at 17:30 on July 6th.

Who can Register

  • WISH Resident and (his/ her) Family member (up to 2 visitors per group)
  • Prospective students and (his/ her) Family members (up to 2 visitors per group)
  • Applicant who considers to enter WISH within 3 years and (his/ her) Family member (up to 2 visitors per group)

Registration is on first come, first served. The application form may close early if all the advanced reservation seats are taken.
For participants of tour 1 and 2, we will send an e-mail with fixed schedule and details about the day in late July.
Furthermore, 3rd tour is only for those who apply at site on the day of the open house. You may apply at private consultation booth of student dormitories (Waseda Campus building7 1F Space7-7(subject to change)) or WISH 1F Entrance from 10am. Please be aware that this is also on first come first served basis.

Registration period

July 1st (Mon) 10am ~ July 24th (Wed) 12pm

When the number of applicantions reach the capacity, this form will be closed early even during the period above.

Note

  • Your participation to this Open House will not affect the screening process.
  • No parking spaces available. Please use public transportation.
  • No cloak service nor lockers available at WISH. We kindly suggest you to minimize your belongings when you visit.
  • If you wish to have this tour in English, please register yourself to the 2nd tour.
  • Please bring a pair of slippers.
  • Rules of the dormitory would apply to visitors as well.
    1. Please be informed that family members of the opposite gender are NOT allowed to enter to the females’ nor males’ dormitories. (i.e. Fathers are not allowed to visit the females’ hall and mothers are not allowed to visit males’ hall).
    2. Family members are NOT allowed to stay overnight in the room.
    We set these rules and regulations in order to protect students’ rights of privacy and security. We sincerely ask you to observe these rules.
