【For Incoming Students in September 2019】Rule changes of application for WID/Dormy

For the applicants who apply for WID/Dormy AS A FIRST CHOICE,  we change the rules as follows.

<Current rule>
Students who have passed the entrance exam are accepted on a first come, first served basis for any dormitory in which they wish to stay.

<After the revision>
For students who have passed the entrance exam, after the application deadline lots will be drawn to assign students to the dormitories of their choice.
[Note 1] However, for dormitories where a sufficient number of rooms has been secured beforehand, rooms may be allotted before the application deadline.
[Note 2] If you applied for Waseda University Student Dormitories (WISH or Higashi-Fushimi Student Dormitory) as a first choice and applied for WID/Dormy after second choice, drawing lots will be conducted after the result announcement of Waseda University Student Dormitories.

Dormitory Desk, Student Affairs Section (Former Residence Life Center) is a department that plans management policies for student dormitories, and provides services for students regarding dormitories.
