科学研究は、多くの先人たちの積み重ねによって発展してきたものであり、
研究者間の信頼関係で成り立っています。「研究活動上の不正行為（捏造、改
ざん、盗用等）」は、その信頼に反するものであり、人々の科学への信頼を揺
るがし、科学の発展を妨げるものです。また、研究活動を行っていく上で、
「研究費」は不可欠なものです。国からの公的な補助金等による研究や民間か
らの資金提供を受けて行う研究など、全ての研究活動において、当然ながら
「研究費の取扱いに係る不正行為」は許されません。
これらの研究不正は、研究者本人だけでなく本学の社会的信用を失墜させる
と同時に、本学の研究機関としての責任も厳しく問われることとなります。残
念ながら、近年、本学において研究不正が発生しており、研究不正を起こさな
い、起こさせない組織風土の形成が急務となっています。
学生の皆さんにおいては、以下の資料をご一読いただき、適正な研究に関す
る理解を深めるだけでなく、意図せず研究不正に巻き込まれることがないよう
に、十分に留意してください。

To undergraduate students engaged in research activities

The advancement in scientific research is attributed to the accumulation of achievements of many predecessors and relies on trust among researchers. Research misconduct (fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, etc.) jeopardizes the trust and public trust in science and hinders its advancement. Research funds are essential for research activities. Misconduct in handling research funds is naturally not tolerated for any kind of research activity, whether funded by the government or the private sector.
Such research misconduct will damage not only the researchers themselves but also the university, which will lose public trust; and the university’s research institute will be seriously questioned. Unfortunately, there have been instances of research misconduct at the university in recent years, making it urgent to create an organizational climate that does not cause or tolerate such behavior.
Please read the documents below to familiarize yourself with the code of conduct for research integrity and be sufficiently careful to avoid unintentionally being involved in research misconduct.
