The Academic Research Ethics Committee offers “Introduction to Academic and Research Integrity” for graduate students who aim to become researchers, and undergraduates in their third year and above who are about to begin research, in order to deepen their understanding of research ethics. Students taking this course will be able to learn about basic matters concerning the need for research ethics, research planning, research execution, research outcomes, etc. from 10 experts from Waseda and elsewhere using actual examples.
This course is a new course for graduate students in 2022.
It is a hybrid course consisting of face-to-face lectures and full on-demand lectures, in which students will learn basic concepts related to “responsible conduct of research” and gain a deeper awareness of what constitutes “RCR” are through discussions.
