Short-term Japanese Program is organized and run by the center for Japanese Language Waseda University. The goal of this 4weeks program is to cultivate students’ overall Japanese language ability. Through the classes provided in different levels, students can study Japanese language according to their own abilities.
Students basically take the classes 8units or 12units per week for 4weeks and comprehensively improve their Japanese based on the text book. This program is aimed to mainly elementary level students. Additionally, we offer conversation subjects. Students can take both Japanese and Conversation subject.
Short-term Japanese Program is for those who can at least read and write Hiragana/Katakana. If you have never learned Hiragana and Katakana, please self-study with following materials before starting the program.
Costs of insurance is included but costs for textbooks, housing, and transportation etc., are excluded.

||WB :Winter Course without Conversation subject (2credits)
No scholarship plan is yet available for year 2021.
Extracurricular Activities are prepared for students to go out and try their in-class acquired Japanese and Japanese culture. Students can also participate in various activities organized by Waseda University Intercultural Communication Center (ICC).
