Waseda International Learning Lounge (WILL), on the 3rd floor of Building No. 22, is opened as a place for all Waseda students, faculty, and staff from different nationalities, languages, affiliations or social status to foster mutual understanding which overcomes barriers.
The Lounge also promotes group study, autonomous learning and research exchange. WILL features whiteboards, discussion spaces, and places for personal work, free Wi-Fi and microwave ovens. The Lounge is open from 8:00 to 22:00, as a space for work and discussion. Food and beverage are allowed at WILL.

Located on the third floor of Building No. 22, the Japanese Language Students’ Reading Room is a library that houses a wide range of books on Japanese language education.
The Japanese Language Students’ Reading Room has a full array of Japanese language teaching materials for students studying Japanese so that they can study in accordance with their level of proficiency and the reasons why they are studying. The Japanese Language Students’ Reading Room also lends dictionaries, as well as cassette tapes, compact disks, and other audio study aids, to assist international students in studying Japanese. Furthermore, the library collects books that explain Japan’s history and culture and the lives of the Japanese people in an easy-to-understand way.
In principle, the Japanese Language Students’ Reading Room is open during times when classes are held at the Center for Japanese Language.

The library’s reference books include new and other books written in easy-to-understand Japanese which is suitable for beginners, books on how to teach Japanese, dictionaries, picture books, and handbooks.
Materials introducing Japan’s current situation
The library’s collection of books focuses on books written in easy-to-understand Japanese on the history, culture, economy and other aspects of Japan, which are needed for classes or are difficult to find at other libraries. It also includes essays, novels, songs, and manga comics.
