Together with the Graduate School of Japanese Applied Linguistics, Waseda University’s Center for Japanese Language has created and put into practice “Research Ethics Guidelines” for Japanese language education research. Before starting a Japanese language education research project at Waseda University that involves human subjects, it is necessary to apply for a research ethics review in accordance with these guidelines and obtain approval.
