Research introduction
Protection for artificial intelligence models is a cutting-edge international field that has attracted significant attention from both academia and industry. Wu Lab conducts exploration on pioneering research in this field, focusing on two primary themes:
1. Large model privacy preserving, including secure and reliable large-model training, LLM hallucination assessment and mitigation.
2. Copyright protection for large models, including large-model watermarking, collaborative knowledge sharing, and related copyright protection technologies.
3. Embodied intelligence privacy protection, including privacy-preserving mobile devices network, robust multi-robot task planning, secure and intelligent Internet of Things (IoT) systems, and the application of network intelligence and security methodologies in embodied intelligence systems.
Meanwhile, Wu Lab is equipped with abundant infrastructure, including high-performance GPUs, robotic arms, and specialized simulation platforms, supporting students’ explorations in their areas of interest.
Professor Wu also encourages students to pursue interdisciplinary research that aligns with their unique backgrounds and is dedicated to providing detailed guidance.

Research Life
Wu Lab holds frequent seminars where all the members discussed the academic trends and innovative ideas.
In addition, Professor Wu has been working in the field of network intelligence and protection for more than twenty years and has established extensive global collaboration networks. He encourages students to participate in international conferences and engage in exchange or internship programs at research institutes or in industry.
In terms of career development, whether pursuing further studies, seeking opportunities in Japan, or entering the international job market, Professor Wu provides strong support and recommendations while fully respecting students’ individual preferences.
International Education and Diversity
Wu Lab is a highly international and diverse research community, bringing together students from Japan, Germany, Tonga, China, and beyond. This multicultural environment enables diverse and innovative perspectives on research topics, which prompts the internationalization of research and the cultivation of students’ global horizons.
Beyond research, Wu Lab assists students in adapting to life in Japan. By organizing welcome events, festival gatherings, dinner parties, and daily sports activities, international students feel efficiently supported throughout their study-abroad journey.
Some students graduated previously have got the job at famous universities and companies, such as Ricoh, Sharp.
Welcome to be a part of Wu Lab! Let’s enjoy the high-level research and the vibrant daily life together!
