MEXT Scholarship (Flyer2025)

Graduate School of Information, Production and Systems (IPS) Waseda University has been selected for the International Priority Graduate Program (PGP) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
The PGP, created by MEXT to support programs with international appeal to foreign students, provides priority allocation for government financed foreign students.
Students should apply for the scholarship through IPS. IPS selects students and recommends them to the Japanese Government. A detailed outline of the program and the application procedure are as follows.

- Postal mail must reach IPS office by the last day of the application period.
- Screening fee must be paid via bank transfer by Monday, January 20, 2025. For more details, please refer to IPS Admission Guide.
- Applicants are required to meet all qualifications stated in MEXT Application Guide and IPS Admission Guide.
- To apply for this program, both application for 1. MEXT and 2. IPS should be completed. Graduation Certificates, Degree Certificates and Transcripts must be submitted to 1. MEXT and 2. IPS respectively.
- All the timeline (Date/Time) indicates Japan Standard Time (JST).
