Artificial intelligence has emerged in various fields, and achieve a huge progress in sports, industry and culture. Over the years, Furuzuki Lab has conducted deep learning model optimization, machine learning theory research, deep reinforcement learning applications to related research in kernel areas of artificial intelligence (music synthesis, image processing, autonomous driving).

Laboratory Research Equipment:
Our laboratory has sufficient research equipment, including RTX30, RTX40 series GPU and HP P series desktop workstation for each person.

Laboratory Seminar:
The seminar is the important laboratory activity. Our seminar is scheduled on Wednesday per week. Members are divided into 4 groups and each group has weekly cycle, so each person will report once a month. The topics of the seminar report are very flexible, contains research progress, paper reading, idea draft.
Now, due to the impact of COVID-19, the seminar is held online via zoom, and the seminar in person will be held from the spring semester.
Laboratory Life:
There are not too many constraints in the laboratory. Professor Furuzuki is very concerned about the students’ learning and living conditions, every student can discuss with the professor about the problem in both academic and life. Every year there is a welcome party for new students and a farewell party for graduates. In Furuzuki laboratory, you can take easy and have a passion in your daily life.
