Summary
13th International collaboration Symposium on Information, Production and Systems (ISIPS2019) was held at IPS from Thursday 21st to Friday 22nd November 2019. There were 56participants of teachers, researchers and students from 15universities overseas and 2 institutes (China, Taiwan, Sudan, Singapore, Vietnam, USA and Switzerland), and 94 participants from Japan including IPS and National Institute of Technology, Kurume College. They presented their leading edge research outputs, outcome of collaborated research project, and exchanged hot discussion among participants. Starting with the opening address from Dean of IPS, Professor Kohei Tatsumi, President of FAIS, Dr. Morio Matsunaga gave their greeting speech. Following it, Professor Koichi Shimizu lectured his Keynote Speech, and also Professor, Jun, WU, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China and Associate Professor, CHEN Po-Hung, National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan gave their Invited Talk in the morning on the first day. In the afternoon on the first day and whole second day, 80 poster sessions, International workshop on Bioiontronics, and 5 seminars including SEMINAR “Entrepreneurs” were conducted. In the banquet held after finishing sessions on the second day, all the participants fully enjoyed and interacted their friendship and the best paper presentation selected from each session were awarded. Besides, participants enjoyed Japanese traditional tea ceremony performance demonstrated by students of IPS official tea ceremony club.
