Syllabus Search System
The annual academic calendar and detailed timetables are available on “IPS Square”, which is accessible to enrolled students.
You can view it via Waseda University official website’s syllabus search system.

After enrollment, each student will be provided with a Waseda account. This account allows access to the internet and various university services.
Most courses at IPS are conducted in both English and Japanese.
In the event that the change is deemed just and necessary, it may be approved.
You can take Japanese classes offered in the Science and Research Park after entering IPS. However, there is a separate fee for doing so. Moreover, such classes do not count as IPS credits.
At IPS, there is a credit transfer system with the University of Kitakyushu and Kyushu Institute of Technology, both located within the Kitakyushu Science and Research Park. Students can take designated courses at these universities, with a maximum of 10 credits transferable during their enrollment at IPS.
Important: You may earn up to 6 credits per academic year, and no more than 4 credits per semester.
At IPS, classes are scheduled from 8:50 AM to 8:35 PM, divided into six periods per day. For those working full-time during the day, it is generally necessary to focus on evening classes during the 6th period (6:55 PM – 8:35 PM), Saturday classes, and intensive courses, in addition to attending classes on one or two weekdays.
When planning your course schedule, you will need to carefully consider the number of credits required for graduation and align it with the available class times.
Pursuing studies as a working professional requires personal effort and support from your employer. Please take these factors into careful consideration before applying.
Classes are available from Monday to Saturday. The first period starts at 9:00 in the morning. The last period starts at 18:55 and finishes at 20:35.
